Believe it or not, this puts the good old U.S. of A well behind most every other nation on the planet, at least in regard to potty training babies. Most countries share the consistent practice of starting to teach their children how to use the potty at as early as three months.

Yes. Three months.

Think about it, when your baby is cooing in your arms or sleeping nearly every second, they are rarely left to their own devices.

When your child has to eliminate, you as parent are fully aware. You can do everything in your power to make sure you are holding your baby over the proper facilities when you know it is time for them to expel.

Though this technique may be counter intuitive to those parents raised to believe a child must possess a full understanding of what is happening around them, it is in fact direct aligned to the school of thought that believes it is never too early to teach. An observant, committed parent will be able to assemble the factors needed to find enormous success in early potty training.

Babies most often have to urinate or release their bowels within ten minutes after eating. All a mindful mommy or daddy need do is place their child on an eating schedule and then sit them on the potty with a coinciding routine.

Of course this method isn’t exactly easy peasy as it does require due diligence on the part of the parents, and a schedule that will facilitate the needed consistency, but you can get positive results.

Think about it, by the time your baby grows into a toddler you won’t have to deal with the tumultuous time that many other families must face, where ever journey to the bathroom seems to include a fierce battle of the wills. Potty training a baby isn’t easy, and though it can be started as early as three months, you will not likely experience any true results until around the one year mark.

Not in one potty training day or even three. However, if you are willing to put in the work required, it is well worth it to try potty training babies. Most of the globe does it without any problems.

Not only will you save a hundred dollars or so as much as two years early (yup, that’s over two-grand in diaper savings), you’ll just be doing what most of the civilized world has already been doing forever.
