When it comes to finding the ideal potty training seats for your child, there are a few to choose from but nothing extensive. Sitting your child on an adult toilet can be hard because they are not only uncomfortable, but your child may have a hard time holding themselves up as well. This is where these training seats are needed. There are also little ones designed to sit on the floor for children so they have their own little potty. Either option can work well in the potty training process.

Potty Seat

This is what most children are more comfortable with, and this is a miniature toilet for children who are potty training. This is a little less intimidating to 2- and 3-year-olds and there are even ones that play music when the child uses the bathroom. It’s their size and is more convenient for parents as well.

Seats for the Big Toilet

These are the inside of the kiddie toilet seat that clips on top of an adult toilet. These are easier to use at times but you have to keep taking them on and off if there is only one bathroom. This makes it easier as far as eliminating cleaning a kiddie toilet, and you just flush the toilet. You have to keep putting your child on and off, and this can show them that the toilet is not scary but friendly.

If your child can tell you what they want, ask them to tell you which one they prefer. There are even toilets that have your child’s favorite cartoon character on as well, and some serve as a toilet as well as a stand. There are again several to choose from, and potty training seats should be fun as well to ensure your child doesn’t get scared. Getting your child to use the potty is a big accomplishment and should be made into a big deal.
