This short, snappy story is rather funny, though it made the author mad. I don’t blame her! Potty training isn’t always easy, and it’s rarely a whole lot of fun – even if it’s just the difference in two different pairs of underwear.

You can’t tell from the picture except for how the fabric lays, but the boys undies are easily twice as thick as the girls. The fabric is better quality, and more durable. The stitching is tighter, and reinforced. Now, look at the leg holes and waist band. Do you see the width of those bands on the boys? Nice, heavy fabric covering strong elastic. The girls panties on the other hand have a tiny sprinkling of itchy lace surrounding the weak, flimsy, narrow elastic.
Yeah, I’d never given much thought to it either, but my thinking is that since girls are made of sugar and spice and boys are made of puppy dog tails, they need thicker underwear!
